Introduction

Community protocols are developed by independent teams and await DAO approval, thus not yet officially integrated into the Jellyverse. These protocols go through various stages:

• Conception: A protocol begins with the idea and the concept. In this phase, a white paper is developed and information about the protocol is provided

• Test deployment: Once the concept has been finalized, the independent team can deploy the system on the testnet.

• Community testing: Once the protocol has been successfully deployed on the testnet, the community can test the protocol.

• On-chain voting: In the next step, a proposal is submitted and, if the outcome is positive, the protocol can be deployed on the mainnet.
